Placing an Order You may either place an order online, or by telephone or by post, whichever you prefer.
Placing an order online is simple. When you find a pair of shoes or accessory that you wish to purchase, select your size and click on the 'Add to Basket' button. This will add the item to your shopping basket and straight away you will be able to see the contents of your shopping basket. This will also add a "cookie" to your PC. This cookie only stores details of the items that you have selected and contains no personal information. If you have set your site to deny all cookies then you will not be able to shop online at BrogueShoes.co.uk. (In these circumstances you can always place an order by telephone).
You then have three choices. You can amend the contents in your basket (delete items or adjust quantities), continue shopping or proceed to the checkout.
You can reach the shopping basket at any time by clicking on the 'View Basket' link on the top of any page. If you change your mind, the shopping basket will allow you to remove or change the quantity of any product you have added. If you run out of time, your basket will be saved. In fact, as long as you use the same computer, the contents of your basket should be saved until you either clear them or complete your purchase.
Payment We accept credit or debit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Visa Debit Cards and American Express. We do not charge for any item until it is packed and ready to ship. Similarly any backordered items are not charged until they are packed and ready to ship. You may make purchases online or by telephone.
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. As payment is made directly on the SagePay and HSBC Bank secure websites, BrogueShoes.co.uk/Mackie & Co Limited never captures or processes your credit card details on our sites. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
